Bishop Andrew Smith Visits Grace and St. Peter's

Sunday, May 17, 2009 - Grace and St. Peter's recieved a visit from the office of Diocesan Bishop Andrew D. Smith.

On the Sunday of Bishop Smith’s visit, a flock of church school sheep processed in, led by "Bishop" Brooke and showed their spirit by singing “Every Time I Feel the Spirit” with Bishop Smith joining in.  Bishop Smith also blessed the rectory garden and cut the soil in which the church school children will be planting vegetables. Such a great idea, that the White House has followed suit!

For the Bishop's visit members participated in the service and demonstrated culinary skills by “baking brownies for the Bishop”!
