ABOUT US

Grace and St John’s is an Episcopal Church

The Episcopal Church is a member province of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

The mission of the church, as stated in the Book of Common Prayer’s catechism (p. 855), is “to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.”

As part of that mission, we are following Jesus into loving, liberating and life-giving relationship with God, with each other and with the earth, as the Episcopal branch
of the Jesus Movement.

Grace and St John's is a wonderfully  kind, generous, and welcoming community

- The Rev. Robert Bergner, Rector

As a community of faith, we are called

  • to love and support each other, to share each other’s joys and sorrows, to pray for one another, to encourage one another and to comfort one another;

  • to gather together in worship, to sing, to pray, and to hear and reflect on scripture, to break bread and share the Body of Christ;

  • to go out into the world, to serve our neighbors and to share  the good news of God’s love and Christ’s victory over sin and death.
